Woman shares ‘game-changing’ eyeliner hack using a dental floss pick for a sharp wing

Taking to TikTok to boast about the trick, Vienne make-up enthusiast Daminee shared a eye look tutorial with her viewers that left many people in awe.

The woman, who posts under the social media handle @ glamwithdaminee, completed her black winged eyeliner in seconds using a dental floss pick to sharpen the line.

After dubbing it the ‘best eyeliner hack’, Daminee simply stamped her eye-liner on using the sharp end of the dental floss pick, allowing her to create the perfect shape without fussing around with drawing her own line or keeping a steady hand.

The make-up guru applied black eyeliner to the end of the dental floss pick in order to use it as a DIY applicator and the results are incredible. When she moves the stick away from her face, a perfectly straight wing is revealed – with no smudges or wobbly lines in sight.

Owing to the impressive technique that takes just seconds to perfect, Daminee’s video has amassed more than 78,000 likes on the app to date, with hundreds of people flocking to the comments to praise the trusty trick.

One person wrote “brilliant idea I am going to try this thank you x” while another added “nah, but why did i never know this” before dubbing the hack a “game changer”.

Other commenters were eager to know which eyeliner the woman used as they were keen to re-create the hack using the exact same products.

Daminee revealed that she used the Essence’s liquid waterproof eyeliner for the look, which you can pick up for just £2.50 from Wilkos in the UK, making this a seriously budget friendly hack.

Other commenters were concerned that they wouldn’t get the angle right when using the dental floss tooth pick to apply their liner, but Daminee ensured them that it was very easy to do.

The make-up lover simply placed the applicator at a slight angle, mimicking where she would usually apply her liner with a eyeliner pen or brush, and stamped it onto her skin gently – holding it there for a few seconds before removing it to reveal the perfect wing.
