Nowadays, drones are becoming increasingly popular with frequent uses, including photography and filming. However, a savvy woman has taken its use to a new extreme after she didn’t want to drive to her sister’s house after she accidentally left her charger.

In the video on popular video-streaming service TikTok, @ chichibaeofficial attached the pink charging cable to her DJI Mini 2 drone and documented the footage, which has surpassed a whopping 776,000 views to date. After wanting to avoid the local traffic, the TikToker admitted: “When your sister forgets her charger at your house but you don’t feel like driving it there…”

“Next time I’m flying a hot dog to her house,” the woman joked in the post’s caption.

The video showed the TikToker attaching the drone to the cable, whilst she was on FaceTime to her sister throughout the entirety of the journey.

Since posting, the clip has rocketed into internet stardom and has received over 420 responses from gushing users who took their thoughts to the comment section.

Whilst the drone is able to travel to lengths of up to 7.5 miles, it had no problem reaching her sister’s home with ease.

The woman explained: “She lives down the highway so it got there in about two minutes lol but the battery last about one hour.

“It can go 7.5 miles n she lives driving wise about three minutes away,” she added.

Taking to the comments of the post, one person gushed: “Genius.”

“OMG that’s so funny lol,” a second added.

A keen third user wrote: “I need you to buy a house move out and forget your charger so I have an excuse to buy this.”

A different person claimed: “How takeaways and parcels will be delivered in future.”
