Barcelona stars of past and present face off in Group C of the 2022 FIFA World Cup, with Robert Lewandowski and Lionel Messi going head-to-head as Poland battle Argentina.
Messi’s Argentina are aiming to end their 36-year wait to win a third World Cup, after losing out in the 1990 and 2010 finals. Their talisman will appear in what will be his last hurrah at the tournament.
However, Lewandowski could also be set for his final World Cup showdown, with the Barcelona striker aiming to outgun La Blaugrana’s iconic former No.10.
Mexico and Saudi Arabia will also have hopes of securing a last-16 spot, and they will be aiming to steal the Lewandowski vs. Messi spotlight.
