World Juniors standings: Updated scores, schedule, results for 2022 IIHF World U20 Championships

Need a hockey fill? Fear not fans, as the 2022 IIHF World U20 Championship is here.

The World Juniors are set to get started (again) on Tuesday, Aug. 9 with 10 countries hitting the ice to compete for the title of world champion.

The IIHF decided to try the tournament again in the summer after it was canceled in December due to a COVID-19 outbreak. It will be hosted once again in Edmonton at Rogers Place, home of the Oilers.

The field of competition is the same as in the winter, with the exception of Russia, which has been banned from all IIHF events. In the country’s place is Latvia, which is competing in the tournament for the first time since 2017.
