Xbox Teams Up With Oreo for Special-Edition Cookies, Game-Related Prizes

Ever wanted Oreo cookies with the Xbox logo on them? Well, you’re in luck.

Microsoft and Oreo are teaming up to produce limited-edition Oreo cookies that feature six Xbox-related designs. For now, it seems the partnership is mainly geared toward European users.

The cookies will be embossed with the Xbox logo, the  A, B, X, and Y controller buttons, and the up directional arrow. In addition, the partnership will go beyond physical sandwich cookies; buyers of the limited-edition cookies will also have a chance to win Oreo-themed, in-game items for the Xbox titles Forza Horizon 5, Sea of Thieves, and Halo Infinite

Microsoft released images of some of the in-game prizes, and they include armor skins for Halo in the distinct Oreo blue, black, and white colors, along with vehicle designs for Forza Horizon 5.

“By scanning the Oreo Xbox Special Edition cookies and by cracking exclusive cookie combinations, inspired by the cheat codes hidden in games throughout history, fans can unlock a range of prizes,” the company added.

Other prizes will include opportunities to win “custom Oreo hardware, Xbox consoles, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate memberships, and a holiday experience for the whole family,” Microsoft said in Monday’s announcement(Opens in a new window). The company plans on awarding these prizes by entering participants into a drawing.

Oreo plans on releasing the limited-edition cookies in 22 countries this month. However, the website(Opens in a new window) for the partnership indicates the US won’t be part of the fun, for now anyways. We reached out to Microsoft for comment, and will update the story if we hear back.
