A captivating American League Division Series between the Yankees and Guardians is fast approaching its fiery finish. Those hoping to attend Game 5 of the ALDS might want to bring a jacket, however.
The rubber match of the ALDS is under threat of delay as early forecasts indicate that storms are expected to descend on Yankee Stadium around the game’s scheduled start time of 7:07 p.m.
It wouldn’t be the first time rain has disrupted this series; inclement weather pushed Game 2 last week from a prime-time Thursday slot to mid-day Friday.

It appears likely that the game will be impacted by the weather at some point. The good news is that the front is moving fairly quickly, so conditions should improve by mid-evening and we aren’t expecting a washout by any means.
