Brazil vs Tunisia live score, updates, highlights and lineups from World Cup friendly tuneup

Brazil are looking every bit the part of World Cup favorites and No. 1 team in the world with a 14-match unbeaten run as they face their last test before Qatar 2022. They will welcome fellow World Cup participant Tunisia at the Parc des Princes in Paris on Tuesday.

The Selecao’s unquestioned strength lies in their deep, talented roster and manager Tite has done well to foster a strong identity and clear structure. Neymar still leads the team, and Richarlison is filling the role of center forward, a different position from the winger position he plays for his club Tottenham Hotspur. They’re coming off a 3-0 win over Ghana last week.

Brazil will be playing in Group G at the World Cup against Serbia, Switzerland, and Cameroon. Meanwhile, Tunisia will be considered a long shot to emerge from Group D which they share with defending champions France, Denmark, and Australia.

If Tunisia, ranked No. 30 in the world, are going to spring the surprise on Tuesday and at the World Cup they are going to need to rely on the defensive prowess they’ve shown in recent matches, shutting out seven straight opponents during a recent impressive unbeaten run. They beat Comoros last Thursday on a goal by veteran Taha Yassine Khenissi.

These two teams have only met one other time, a 4-1 victory for Brazil back in 1973.
