Uttam Parmar and his wife Raki won a luxury eco-mansion with a £25 lottery ticket… and now seem set to flog it for £4million just weeks after winning it

A couple who won a stunning mansion with a £25 lottery ticket look set to flog it for £4million, less than eight weeks after winning it.
The stunning house boasts panoramic views of the Camel Estuary and has celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay as a neighbour.
Originally valued at £3million, the eco-mansion was up for grabs in the Omaze Million Pound House Draw in July.
Uttam Parmar, 58, from Leicester, entered the competition after failing to win the eight previous times – but this time he, his wife and his son walked away with the grand prize.
They won the stunning house on August 12, but by October 8, it was on the market already with Mr Parmar and his wife Raki looking set to cash in.

The huge prize also included £50,000 and the home is mortgage-free, with stamp duty and legal fees all covered.
The eco-mansion comes completely insulated with recycled newspapers and a ‘green roof’ covered in grass, moss and flowers.
It also has 5.3 acres of land.

The four-bedroom property boasts neighbours like Gordon Ramsay, who lives with his family in a £4.4million mansion across the Camel Estuary from Padstow.
But instead of swapping Leicestershire for Cornwall, or having a plush holiday home, the family look set to take the cash.
Speaking outside the home in Wadebridge this summer after his win, Mr Parmar said: “We have a large extended family, so no doubt they’ll all be asking to have their next birthday parties here.

“We’ve holidayed in Cornwall over the years and always thought it would be incredible to have a place here – and now we do – we’re still pinching ourselves.
“We’re not sure if we’ll rent, sell or live in it yet – it’s the best dilemma we’ve ever had! Whatever we decide, it’s a life-changing win for the whole family.”
But now the property is on RightMove.
The operations manager from Leicestershire was at a hospital when he learned he had won the dream home.

He said: “When Omaze called to tell us we’d won a prize, we were actually at the hospital. We were so excited that we might have won the grand prize, we called our son Aaron, 26, to see if the winning entry code matched ours.
“When he triple checked the numbers matched, we must’ve burst his eardrums screaming down the phone.
“Although, we still didn’t believe we’d won until we got back to our house and Omaze told us in person.

“I’ve entered every Omaze draw since they started, so patience really is a virtue, as I’ve now won my own piece of paradise – this house is definitely my favourite one they’ve offered.”
The luxury home even won the award for best new build in Cornwall in 2020 and local estate agents reckon it could fetch up to £15,000 a month in rent during peak season.
A video taken at the house shows Uttam’s reactions to seeing their new home and its incredible surroundings for the first time.

The house has a south-facing, sun-soaked terrace with unspoilt views overlooking the estuary, as well as a hot tub and an internal courtyard with exposed brick walls featuring a large open fireplace.
Mr Parmar said: “I’ve always considered myself a lucky person, firstly because of my wonderful family – but I’ve also won a few bits such as a TV and coffee table, which I was pretty happy with, to be honest.
“I never dreamed I’d win anything as extravagant as a £3million house though.”
