FanDuel Picks Week 11: Best NFL DFS lineup advice for daily fantasy football tournaments

Week 11 doesn’t feature a ton of great matchups on NFL DFS main slate, but there are still plenty of solid individual daily fantasy players to consider. Our Week 11 FanDuel lineup is loaded with a rising young quarterback, some boom-or-bust receivers, and veteran running backs who have favorable matchups

Before we break down our picks and strategy, here are the most notable scoring rules for FanDuel contests: four-point passing TDs and half-point PPR.

FanDuel Picks Week 11: NFL DFS lineup for GPP tournaments

Sunday main slate, $60,000 budget

QB Justin Fields, Bears @ Falcons ($8,700). Fields has been one of the top performers in NFL DFS over the past few weeks and has a favorable matchup on Sunday against the Falcons. The second-year signal-caller shined last week against the Lions, scoring 40.38 FanDuel points with four total touchdowns. It was the second consecutive week that Fields scored at least 40 FanDuel points and had over 100 rushing yards (147 vs. Detroit). He’s also recorded a rushing touchdown in four-straight games, which is giving DFS players an extra boost. He should be in store for another high-scoring performance against the Falcons, who are allowing the ninth-most FanDuel points per game to QBs this season (19.3).

RB Jonathan Taylor, Colts vs. Eagles ($8,700). The star running back had no problems against the Raiders last week, rushing for 147 yards on 22 carries and a touchdown. The last time Taylor had 100 rushing yards was in the regular season opener against the Texans (161 yards). He’ll look to carry that momentum into Sunday’s game against the Eagles, who struggled mightily against the run last week and are allowing 124.8 rushing yards per game. This is a good spot for Taylor to control the tempo of the game for the Colts and attack a glaring weakness on the Eagles. Look out for Taylor to get at least get 20 carries in this game approach 100 yards with a good shot at a score.

WEEK 11 DFS LINEUPS: DraftKings

RB Cordarrelle Patterson, Falcons vs. Bears ($6,700). Patterson was not productive on a short week against the Panthers (2.5 FanDuel points), but with a couple of extra days of rest, he should bounce back against the Bears. The Bears’ defense has struggled to stop the run this season, giving up 142 yards per game and 17 rushing touchdowns. Without Roquan Smith and Robert Quinn, offenses are going right at Chicago’s defense. We should expect Falcons head coach Arthur Smith to do the same thing with his trio of running backs (Patterson, Tyler Allgeier, and Caleb Huntley). In his first game back off injured reserve, Patterson scored 17.8 FanDuel points (two rushing touchdowns) against another terrible run defense in the Chargers. Do not shy away from Patterson due to last week’s outing and confidently start him in Week 11.

WR Chris Olave, Saints vs. Rams ($6,900). Olave will be the highest-priced wide receiver in our FanDuel lineup, which is a bold strategy. However, he’s the Saints’ No. 1 wideout regardless of who is starting at QB and has a good matchup against a Rams’ defense allowing the 11th-most FanDuel points per game to wide receivers this season (28.6). Olave will likely be defended by Rams star cornerback Jalen Ramsey, which could hinder his production. but he will still get targets coming his way. Olave has not scored a touchdown in the past four games, but still averaging 9.35 FanDuel points per game over that span. Hopefully, the threat of a Ramsey will lower Olave’s ownership.

WR Darnell Mooney, Bears vs. Falcons ($6,000). Our QB-WR stack for Week 11 will be Fields and Mooney, who is beginning to look like the receiver we saw last season with the Bears. He’s coming off a solid performance against the Lions where he scored 7.7 FanDuel points (four receptions for 57 yards). He’s now produced at least 50 receiving yards in four out of his past five games. This week he gets a Falcons’ defense that gives up a lot of big plays through the air. Atlanta is allowing a league-high 36.2 FanDuel points per game to WRs this season. If there’s no A.J. Terrell (hamstring), the Bears will try to get Mooney vertical a couple of times in this game.

WEEK 11 PPR RANKINGS:
QBs | RBs | WRs | TEs | D/STs | Kickers

WR Devin Duvernay, Ravens vs. Panthers ($6,700). Duvernay has a quiet performance a couple of weeks ago against the Saints, but he should be a factor on Sunday against the Panthers. The Panthers’ defense is without cornerback Donte Jackson (Achilles) and has allowed the 10th-most FanDuel points per game to wide receivers this season (28.9). Duvernay is averaging 8.87 FanDuel points per game; however, he’s struggled to reach that threshold in three of his past four games. One has to think that the Panthers will look to shut down TEs Mark Andrews and Isaiah Likely, leaving Duvernay as the next-best receiving option for Lamar Jackson. He’s the type of big-play, boom-or-bust value play who can really be a differentiator in DFS tournaments.

TE Dalton Schultz, Cowboys @ Vikings ($5,900). The veteran tight end has played well over the past few weeks with the return of Dak Prescott. Schultz is averaging 10.7 FanDuel points per game over that span and has put together back-to-back solid double-digit FanDuel performances. He will be going up against a Vikings defense allowing the eighth-most FanDuel points per game to TEs this season. Schultz should be one of Prescott’s top-two receiving options on Sunday, making him a relative bargain.

WEEK 11 STANDARD RANKINGS:
QBs | RBs | WRs | TEs | D/STs | Kickers

FLEX Tyler Boyd, Bengals @ Steelers ($6,900). With Ja’Marr Chase (hip) out for another week, Joe Burrow will be leaning on Tee Higgins and Boyd at the receiver spot. The veteran wide receiver only scored 6.9 FanDuel points against the Panthers in Week 9 but had 11.3 and 25.5 FanDuel points, respectively, in the previous two games vs. Cleveland and New Orleans. In the Bengals’ first meeting against the Steelers, Boyd had 11.3 FanDuel points on four receptions (seven targets) for 33 yards and a touchdown. It would not be a surprise to see Boyd reach 10 or more FanDuel points as the Steelers are allowing the second-most FanDuel points per game to WRs this season.

DEF Bengals @ Steelers ($4,300). The Bengals’ defense is not one of the most expensive options in DFS for Week 11, but they should make some noise against Steelers rookie QB Kenny Pickett. Pickett has thrown eight interceptions to only two touchdowns and has been sacked 18 times this season. Cincinnati’s defense has recorded three interceptions in the past two games and five sacks in the past three games. If Cincinnati can get Pickett into third-and-long situations, it will bode well for DFS players on Sunday.
