Heading into Sunday’s kickoff, fantasy football owners are monitoring the latest injury reports on standout tight ends Mark Andrews, Cole Kmet, and David Njoku. All three have impressed this season and are among the top-two receiving options on their respective teams. If any of these pass-catchers cannot play, owners will need to make some quick start ’em, sit ’em decisions at a position where there’s a talent disparity.
Below, we’ll give you the latest news on these TEs and break down how their injuries could potentially affect the Week 11 fantasy landscape. WEEK 11 FANTASY PICKS: Sleepers | Busts | Start ’em, sit ’em
Mark Andrews update, Week 11 fantasy outlook
Andrews (shoulder) practiced on Wednesday in a limited fashion, according to ESPN’s Jamison Hensley. It was his first practice since suffering a shoulder injury on Oct. 27.
It’s good to see the veteran tight end back at practice after not playing in Week 9 against the Saints. Baltimore had a bye last week, giving Andrews another week of rest. The last time we saw the star tight end on the field, he had three receptions (five targets) for 33 yards in the first half against the Buccaneers in Week 8. If Andrews can make it through a full week of practice, he’s an automatic start against the Panthers on Sunday. Carolina’s defense has allowed the 12th-fewest fantasy points per game to tight ends this season, but Andrews is the Ravens’ best receiving option by a wide margin, so he should still produce.

Cole Kmet injury update, Week 11 fantasy outlook
Kmet (thigh) did not practice on Wednesday ahead of the Bears’ Week 11 matchup against the Falcons on Sunday.
Kmet has been one of the best tight ends in fantasy football over the past three weeks, scoring five touchdowns in his past three games. If Kmet is hampered by the soft-tissue injury, owners should look to a streamer like Tyler Conklin (vs. NE) or Foster Moreau (@ Denver).

David Njoku injury update, Week 11 fantasy outlook
The veteran tight end (ankle) did not practice on Wednesday, according to Browns beat writer Anthony Posial. Njoku hoped to play last week against the Dolphins but was ultimately ruled out for the second-straight game.
The 26-year-old pass catcher has been out since Week 7, where he suffered a high-ankle sprain against the Ravens. Before exiting that contest, Njoku had an outstanding performance with seven receptions (seven targets) for 71 yards. If Njoku does not play this week against the Bills, Harrison Bryant will be the starter. We don’t know how much passing the Bills and Browns will be doing on Sunday afternoon given the projected weather conditions, so Bryant is not a viable streamer.
