Chinese GPU vendor Colorful has seemingly leaked the next graphics card in Nvidia’s RTX 4000 series by publishing a product listing for the RTX 4070 Ti.
Colorful’s website briefly hosted the product listing, according(Opens in a new window) to VideoCardz. It has since removed the page, but not before Google archived it.(Opens in a new window) The product listing shows several images of the RTX 4070 Ti, which features three cooling fans, along with some specs.
Most importantly, the specs match those of the RTX 4080 12GB, an $899+ product that Nvidia abruptly canceled in October.

Indeed, the RTX 4070 Ti listed on Colorful features a base clock speed of 2.31GHz, 12GB of GDDR6X memory, an 192-bit memory interface, and a thermal design power at 285 watts —the same as the RTX 4080 12GB.
However, the specs make no mention of the number of CUDA cores in the RTX 4070 Ti. The RTX 4080 12GB was supposed to arrive with 7,680.

The leak seemingly confirms earlier rumors(Opens in a new window) that Nvidia plans on relaunching the RTX 4080 12GB model as the RTX 4070 Ti. The company canceled the RTX 4080 12GB a mere month before its scheduled launch, meaning Nvidia likely had thousands of units already in product packaging, which it’s since had to unbox and rebrand.
The big question is how much the RTX 4070 Ti will cost, and if Nvidia will maintain the $899 starting price or lower it. So far, the company has only said it’s holding a special address on Jan. 3 at CES. However, Nvidia is expected to debut the RTX 4070 Ti at the event, along with other products, such as the first laptop-focused RTX 4000 GPUs. Stay tuned for our coverage.
