Shocked beachgoers called police amid fears they had found a ‘ murdered woman’ when a silicone sex doll was seen washed up on the sand.

Panic-stricken locals noticed what they thought was the corpse of a young naked lady sprawled on the beach in Bang Saen district of Chonburi, eastern Thailand, on the afternoon of August 18.

Paramedics and police raced to the scene with blaring red lights as they prepared to seal off the area with crime investigation tape.

However, they were left scratching their heads when they noticed the fresh-looking cream complexion of the skin before squeezing a leg – which had the unmistakable feel of rubber.

Officers identified the mystery body as a hyper-realistic Japanese ‘AV idol’ sex doll.

They cost at least 500 dollars when ordered online and are used by men to replicate the feeling of romping with a young woman.

A Bang Saen district police spokesman said: “On August 18, 2022, rescue teams were informed that people on the beach were shocked to see a young woman naked and unconscious.

“The officers then rushed to check and from a distance saw a small, beautiful woman with a bare bottom. But when they moved closer it turned out to be an AV doll.

“Her head was missing and her bottom was exposed. We checked on the internet and they cost about 20,000 Baht.

“We believe the doll had been dumped in a river or canal before entering the sea and washing up on the sand. It has now been removed in order to prevent it from scaring tourists.

“If the owner wants to reclaim their doll they can collect her from the rescue team’s station.”
