Must-Watch: The Most-Streamed TV Shows and Movies This Week

Reelgood.com(Opens in a new window) helps people find out whether the TV shows and movies they want to watch are streaming and where to find them. It also pulls data from its millions of monthly users about what they’re watching and uses the info to determine the most-watched programming in a given week.

Here are the top shows and movies from the past week, on Netflix and across all the major streaming services. We also break out the top-10 lists of TV shows and movies, below. Use them to compare your tastes or to get an idea of what you should binge next. You may find a new favorite!

1. A Man Called Otto (Netflix)

The Swedish novel that this movie is based on already had a film adaptation, but no one says no to Tom Hanks. Even if he wants to play a misanthropic widower who can’t stand his neighbors, old or new. Will anyone break through and find his heart of gold?

2. The Diplomat (Netflix)

Keri Russell returns to thrilling TV (after taking a break to visit Cocaine Bear). She’s playing the new US ambassador to the UK who happens to be married to a former ambassador, The Man in the High Castle‘s Rufus Sewell.

3. Silo (Apple TV+)

In the dystopian universe of Silo (based on the book Wool), humanity lives underground in a—yes—silo, but everyone has been there for so many generations that they have no idea why or how they got there. They have been told that the surface of the earth is uninhabitable. But that’s an assumption a few are willing to test.

4. Jury Duty (Freevee)

The first ad-based video on-demand (AVOD) show of the year to make Reelgood’s list is Jury Duty(Opens in a new window), which is essentially a season-long Punk’d gag on one guy who doesn’t know he isn’t really on a jury—he’s on TV.

5. Ghosted (Apple TV+)

When you fall in love with a girl, you’d follow her to the other side of the world even if you barely knew her, right? That’s what Chris “Captain America” Evans does, because the girl is Ana de Armas, so we get it. But it turns out that she’s a spy, so courting will be difficult.

6. Succession (HBO Max)

Who’s going to get daddy’s love—or rather, his company, which is the closest thing—on Succession? Probably no one. At this point in the season, it appears that the Roy children’s alliance is growing tenuous after Kendall and Roman failed to tank the plan to sell the company. Will Shiv get a brick made of blood? We have half a season left to find out.

7. Citadel (Prime Video)

Stanley Tucci is taking a break from eating his way through Italy to head up Citadel(Opens in a new window), a spy agency “loyal to no nation.” With the help of Richard Madden and Priyanka Chopra Jonas, he’s fighting former comrades who double-crossed the agency, and gets to say things like, “You need to remember the past to save the future.”

8. Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story (Netflix)

This six-episode prequel to Bridgerton serves as the backstory for the woman who married King George III within hours of meeting him(Opens in a new window). Like all Bridgerton, it is soapy, melodramatic fun with more than a bit of sex.

9. Scream VI (Paramount+)

A lot of the previous cast members are back for this Scream outing (minus those who were slashed to death, or were the slashers, or are Neve Campbell) to once again put up with a psychotic knife-wielding, ghost-faced killer.

10. Peter Pan & Wendy (Disney+)

Is this Disney’s classic Peter Pan? Well, it is a film about Peter Pan & Wendy(Opens in a new window), and it’s streaming on Disney+, but there are some differences. Like the fact that this is live-action (though maybe not the crocodile) and stars Jude Law as Captain Hook.
