People gobsmacked over size of ‘bigfoot jumbo’ sausage from local chippy

A man’s order from his local chippy has left people in a hot debate over the size of the ‘bigfoot jumbo’ sausage – while others believe it’s a lengthy size others are torn

Arguably, nothing hits better than a classic fish and chip order from your local chip shop. While cod may seem like the go-to order, others prefer to opt for the likes of hamburgers, chicken nuggets, or even sausages.

Deciding to brave the ‘bigfoot jumbo’ battered sausage at his local chippy, a man shared his dish to popular forum Reddit. The meal, which consisted of a portion of chips, mushy peas, and a battered sausage left Redditors flocking to the comments to discuss the meal in question.

The size of the ‘bigfoot jumbo’ was a particular hot topic of conversation as people were divided over the length of the sausage – while it was lengthy, people argued that it lacked some ‘girth’.

Sharing a photo of his meal, user @ekchann wrote: ” Trying the ‘bigfoot jumbo’ from the local chippy.”

Since posting, the piece has raked in over 270 comments from Redditors who were keen to share their opinion and first-hand advice on ordering from the chip shop.

Impressed by the size of the meal, one Reddit user penned: “That’s got some length to it.”

“THAT is a thing of beauty! Needs curry sauce tho…” Another user gushed while sharing their suggestion.

A third said: “Those chippy battered sausages are cheap as f*** and likely contain little ‘meat’ but f*** me do they taste good.”

Meanwhile, an unimpressed user who didn’t seem keen on the meal penned: “Needs more batter for me. A ton of salt and vinegar then part ketchup part curry sauce”
