PSG vs. Monaco: Time, TV channel, live stream, lineups, betting odds for Ligue 1 match

Paris Saint-Germain will look to keep their electric start to the new Ligue 1 season going when they host AS Monaco on Sunday, August 29.

PSG have won their first three league matches of the 2022-23 season and scored an impressive 17 goals in the process.

Former Monaco star Kylian Mbappe has scored four of those goals and will be looking to add to his tally against his old side.

Unlike PSG, Monaco have had a stuttering start to the new season with a first-round win followed up by a draw and loss.

Philippe Clement’s side have been reduced to 10 men in their last two league outings and can’t do that again if they’re any chance of avoiding a PSG thrashing.

PSG vs. Monaco projected lineups & team news

PSG’s strong start to the 2022/23 season has been helped by a lack of injuries with only Julian Draxler currently sidelined with injury.

With so many stars available, new coach Christophe Galtier has plenty of options for his starting side and continues to mix up his formation.

PSG projected starting lineup (3-4-1-2): Donnarumma (GK) — Kimpembe, Marquinhos, Ramos — Nuno, Verratti, Vitinha, Hakimi — Messi — Mbappe, Neymar.

Monaco will be without right-back Vanderson for this clash after he was sent off in their last match against Lens.

Youssouf Fofana, who was sent off in the game prior, is eligible again after serving his one-match suspension.

Young forward Myron Boadu, meanwhile, remains sidelined with a foot injury.

Monaco projected starting lineup (4-4-2): Nubel (GK) — Aguilar, Disasi, Badiashile, Henrique — Diatta, Matazo, Lucas, Takumi — Embolo, Ben Yedder.

Odds via FanDuel (USA), Sports Interaction (Canada), and SkyBet (UK)

With 17 goals in their last three games, it’s hard to see anything but another big PSG win in this match.

Monaco’s run of red cards will be a real concern and if they are reduced to 10 men, the Parisians will no doubt run riot.

PSG, however, have conceded in two of their three Ligue 1 games so far and Monaco aren’t short on potential goalscorers.
