Soccer predictions, best bets today: Betting tips, expert picks for games on Monday, October 17

Mondays aren’t full of matches, but there are a few games to pick from across both Europe and the Americas.

A pair of Italian matches take the field as Roma meet Sampdoria and Lecce host Fiorentina. There is a La Liga match between Villarreal and Osasuna as well, and that’s it for Big Five league action.

In the United States, the MLS playoffs wrap up the first round with NYCFC hosting Inter Miami and FC Dallas taking on Minnesota United. 

In the southern hemisphere, Santos is on the road in the Brazilian Serie A, visiting Red Bull Bragantino. Meanwhile, there’s a full slate of games in the Argentine league, with Estudiantes and Atletico Tucuman both taking the field.

Meanwhile, Inter Miami are playing with house money and Gonzalo Higuain has been unleashed since announcing his retirement.
