Tekken 8 System Requirements: Can Your PC Run The King of Iron Fist?

Street Fighter 6 recently rekindled our love of classic 2D fighting, but now it’s Tekken’s turn to bring 3D brawls to the next level. Tekken 8 continues the Mishima saga in 2024, so you have time to prepare your body, mind, and PC for the next King of Iron Fist tournament. Here’s how you can get your PC gaming rig ready for the next battle.

Why the Tekken 8 Hype?

Tekken is one of the most beloved fighting games in the business, with Tekken 7 making an especially big splash for both casual players and esports fiends. Tekken 8 carries that momentum forward on next-generation hardware using Unreal Engine 5. With old Heihachi out of the picture, Kazuya Mishima and Jin Kazama continue their father vs. son rivalry.

Even better, the new “Heat” system combines with the existing Rage mechanics to encourage aggressive play. When characters enter Heat mode, they gain new moves and more effectively punish overly defensive opponents. Besides the Heat mechanic, Tekken 8 features more environmental destruction.
