Alana Underwood asked her partner, Kevin, what he would think about bringing a third person into their relationship and initially he was unconvinced, but she talked him around when she explained her longstanding ‘bi-curiosity’.

A woman talked her partner into opening up their relationship and inviting in another person after she explained her longstanding “bi-curiosity”. Alana Underwood had been dating her partner, Kevin, for three years when she told him that she wanted to try something new.
She had always been curious about a same-sex relationship so she suggested that they try being polyamorous. Kevin was soon convinced to “go along” with Alana’s choice and they found 30-year-old Megan on a specialist app called ‘3Fun’. Soon both Alana and Kevin found themselves falling for Megan, and now they’re in a throuple – just like the rumoured relationship ofDavid Haye, Una Healy, and Sian Osborne.

What do you think about Throuples? Let us know in the comments…
Speaking to Newsweek, Alana said: “We want people to know that this is a normal relationship. Polyamory is a taboo and it gets sexualised but, for us, we are just like a regular couple but with three people.
“It feels very normal to us. If you saw our regular life, it’s not anything crazy—we’re homebodies. We mostly hang out at home. I think we notice the biggest differences when we go out on dates, and we get a lot of looks when we walk down the street, all three of us holding hands.”
Alana said that there are many benefits to being in a throuple, as there’s more love and support to go around – and when she’s having a bad day there are two people trying to cheer her up.
She added that bills and rent are cheaper too, as they are divided by three rather than two.

But it’s not all plain sailing, as whenever they are planning what to do with their time there are three people to please – and sometimes they argue about which rides to go on at Disneyland.
Alana continued: “Kevin and I really like Disneyland, and Megan is not a fan. If she goes with us, we will make the compromise of going on her favourite rides or eating somewhere she really likes, to make the trip more interesting for her.
“In other scenarios, where someone is strongly against a particular activity, two of us will go out and do something on our own.”
Sometimes they have different opinions on sex too, as they have to manage three libidos instead of two – but they’ve learned how to handle that over time.
Alana added: “For the most part, the three of us are intimate together – but if one person isn’t interested in partaking, then the other two are absolutely welcome to.
“We have an understanding that any one of us is welcome to be a part of it if they want to, but we don’t want to force anyone into that. In the first nine months or so of our relationship, I experienced feelings of jealousy… it was difficult to see my partner with someone else, but over time, I worked on my insecurities and learned to view it differently.”
Alana said that she now loves “both Kevin and Megan” and added that the positives of being in a throuple far outway the negatives, and perhaps that’s why professional boxer David Hayes is rumoured to be in one.
David, 42, reportedly created a Raya profile using images of himself and his model girlfriend, 30, last summer before they reportedly met The Saturday’s singer Una Healy on the exclusive app.
The reports come after claims that Irish singer Una is in a throuple relationship with David and Sian after the boxer shared snaps of the trio enjoying a holiday on New Year’s.
David’s holiday snaps sparked rumours and claims that the trio are in a ‘throuple’ as more reports claim David has already told friends and family about the unconventional relationship.
Sources now claim that David and Sian met Una using dating app Raya, with the insider claiming the pair spoke to a number of high-profile people before ‘hitting it off’ with the Irish singer.
