Clemson defensive tackle Bryan Bresee, one of the top defensive players in the country — and one of the top prospects in the 2023 NFL Draft — will miss Saturday’s game vs. No. 10 N.C. State.
ESPN, citing sources with knowledge of the situation, reported that Bresee will miss the fifth-ranked Tigers’ meeting vs. the Wolfpack with a non-football medical issue. He reportedly required blood work and observation but “received good news medically” late in the week.
Bresee is not expected to miss significant time, ESPN reported.
Two weeks ago, Bresee missed Clemson’s game vs. Louisiana Tech following the death of his sister due to brain cancer.
Bresee has eight tackles, two for loss, and half a sack in three games played this season.
