Woman dubbed ‘best landlord ever’ after leaving HUGE welcome package for tenant

A kind-hearted landlord really made her new tenants feel at home after they walked into their new place to see the owner had stocked the fridge and cupboards – and even left them a bottle of wine

A generous woman has been hailed as the “best landlord ever” after leaving her tenant a huge care package to welcome them into their new home.

The mum-of-four decided to make sure their relationship got off to the best possible start by saving them a big shop.

She believes that the kind gesture will also encourage them to look after the property.

The woman, who lives in the US, left the new tenants with a fully-stocked fridge and pantry.

Not only that, but she bought them a bottle of wine – and some cleaning products to keep the pad clean and tidy.

As well as the every day essentials, a nice box of chocolate was left on the counter top, too.

She shared a photo of the offerings on a Facebook page.

“I hope that by showing them care, they will want to care for the property,” she wrote.

“I made sure there was food for breakfast, lunch and dinner so they don’t have to worry as they move in.”

The cute care package included a photo frame and a cushion to make them feel at home.

There were plenty of people commenting on the post which was liked over 60,000 times inside a day.

Some other landlords were clearly inspired to repeat her kind-hearted idea.

One posted: “What a sweet gesture to do for someone to start off a relationship with.

“I would just be tickled all the way through my heart if I had this welcoming at the placed a rented.”
