World U17 Hockey Challenge 2022: Schedule, scores, standings for tournament featuring Michael Misa, Macklin Celebrini

The World Under-17 Hockey Challenge is back after a two-year absence, as some of the future stars of the NHL meet in British Columbia for a week and a half of action.

Seven squads are set to play in the tournament, which is considered to be one of the first chances for prospects to showcase their skills on an international scale. Canada is sending three teams, while the United States, Czechia, Finland and Sweden each have one participating group.

Players eligible for the 2024 and 2025 draft classes will be in attendance at the event. Michael Misa, one of the few players to be granted exceptional status into the OHL and a top prospect for 2025, will be on Canada Red, and Macklin Celebrini, a Shattuck St. Mary’s product and USHL star, is on Canada Black’s roster.
