Later that month, the theater community lost two greats: legendary Broadway actress Chita Rivera and three-time Tony Award winner Hinton Battle.
February began with another shocking death: Rocky star Carl Weathers, who passed away “peacefully in his sleep” on February 1, according to his family. Just a few days later, the death of country music icon Toby Keith was announced.
In March, Kris Jenner‘s sister Karen died unexpectedly. On March 29, An Officer and a Gentleman star Louis Gossett Jr. died at the age of 87.
